WHO WE ARE

Hello, my name is Glenn Bension, Co-Founder of CHOSN, I am here to promote wellbeing and help create solutions in our community. I was born and raised in Chicago, and I now reside here in Southern Nevada, i.e. Las Vegas. I've owned my own busiess for 4yrs upon arriving here in 1997 as owner and operator of a fast food take out, upon closing I landed a job at Mountain View hospital where I'm now retired from after 23 years of service. I attend community college here in Las vegas for three years for respiratory therapist which help me greatly to become employed at Mountain View hospital. I worked in the central supply department learning all the supplies required to operate in the hospital environment while transitioning to other positions in the hospital. I love to travel with my family when given the opportunity, I enjoy sports as well as playing a few, I enjoy painting and doing yard work around the house, I also like to work on cars. I'm very family oriented and enjoy helping others. I have an honorable discharge from the army as a spec 4 in a med vac unit. The love I have to help others helps me to give back to the community as much and as often as I can and any way I can. Early on in my life and now still I see a lot of poverty and misplacement and not enough being done about it, if you stop for a moment and take a look around you, a good look, you'll notice a lot is right under our nose, and not really hitting home til it hits home. We often coin phrases like each one reach one, each one teaches one, God loves a cheerful giver, how often do we act upon it outside our own, community is that outside of. Glenn is here to reach, to teach, to give and to help create these communities. I look forward to working with and alongside of you all in one goal to make our communities better.
